Course Description
Identification, classification, silvical characteristics, distribution, environ-mental requirements and economic importance of woody plants in shrub, woodland, and forest ecosystems of the United States. Emphasis on species located in the Pacific Coastal, Sierran, and Cascade ecosystems. 2 lectures, 2 laboratories. Recommended prerequisite: BOT 121 or BIO 152.
